Come join Luke Dougherty and Brian Burke in learning how to butcher hogs and sheep in the same weekend! Friday will complete the dispatch, skinning, and butchering of all animals into halves. The following day the hogs and sheep will be processed out and packaged. The goal of this weekend is to walk through the basic steps of butchering your own animals using simple tools and techniques. The butchering and processing will be done using hand tools and other affordable butchering implements. Lunches and dinners at the farm will be included.
